Nigel and sister Jackie, who is one of the Big Brother producers, have launched a new business venture offering a one day "Intro to TV" course.

The morning is taken up with introducing you to who’s who in television. To help you take the first step towards focusing and defining what areas of television most interest you: Research, floor managing, post production, shooting.

The Surfing Cow Team will then talk you through a practical guide to getting you started in television, for example, what being a ‘Runner’ really means.

Moving on the team will teach you the basic essential skills of good contributor booking, what contributors are and where we find them, the differences in contributors for different genres, where to find sensational exclusive stories and how to book them.

Into the afternoon you will be taught what constitutes content, what a basic shooting script is and how we capture story and narrative and translate it visually into engaging entertaining television millions of viewers will enjoy.
